RUIDOSO PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT

Ruidoso's Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing exceptional parks, facilities, programs and services that are designed to improve the quality of life for everyone who lives in or visits our beautiful mountain village.

The department oversees recreation programming, such as Wilderness Camp offered in the summer with archery, horseback riding, hiking, caving, rock climbing, fishing, canoeing, gardening, swimming, etc.; adult volleyball & basketball league with open gym prior to league beginning; special events, community clean ups.

In addition they oversee Park Maintenance, Senior Center operations, swimming pool operation, cemetery operation, convention center operations and special event scheduling/permitting.

Keep Ruidoso Beautiful is one of their exceptional programs. Keep Ruidoso Beautiful enhances the quality of life in our Village through a multitude of programs and events for the ongoing beautification of Ruidoso.
