Originally from the Texas Hill Country, Joshua Botkin studied wildlife pathology at the University of Wyoming - ultimately leading to a Bachelor's Degree of Science in 2007.
Josh moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado, where he continued his studies at the prestigious Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University.
While attending graduate school, Josh worked for the National Wildlife Research Center as an ecologist, participating in research evaluating and mitigating problems in ecosystems across the country on both government and private lands.
After earning his Master's Degree in Ecology in 2012, Josh and his wife moved to Ruidoso, NM, where mixing his passion for landscaping and ecology, he started High Country Landscapes, LLC. in 2013. Josh is dedicated to water and soil conservation while creating beautiful landscapes for his clients to enjoy.
