Win Place & Show

Win Place & Show is an iconic bar located in mid-town Ruidoso, NM boasting the state's oldest dance floor! Family owned and operated (Mike, Morgan, Denni & Brandon Cheney), it provides three unique experiences in one perfect setting. The package liquor store marked the initial footprint of what has become WPS. A variety of offerings are available including specialty Bourbons and Tequilas. Mike is our resident Bourbon expert having received his Bourbon Steward certification from Stave & Thief Society of Louisville, Kentucky. As such he actively seeks out individual barrels selected by him especially for the bar & package store. The bar was first established in the 1950's following the package store. The lounge offers a large fireplace, dancefloor, and stage for live music in the evenings and most Saturday afternoons. In 2020, the neighboring lot became the Axe Bar and Patio. A perfect entertainment space which offers axe throwing, drinks and live music with a large covered patio.
