About Us

A Quilting Stitchuation and Stitch-N-Pines Retreat Center are consistently looking for more creative and fun ways to provide for all of your quilting needs!

A Quilting Stitchuation has grown and evolved over the last several years and at the end of 2020 we purchased our own property in Alto, NM. The goal is to have the quilt shop, retreat center and retreat house all in the same location! It is considered a destination quilt shop and retreat center! In May 2021, we opened our new retreat house to the first group of quilting retreaters! The quilt shop was moved from the Sudderth Drive location to be on the same property as the retreat center at the end of November 2021. More great news is we have finalized work on the brand new building that has become New Mexico's first and only quilt retreat center, Stitch-n-Pines Retreat Center, LLC., designed specifically for quilters. We are able to accommodate up to fifteen guests with the addition of our new building!!

They are a destination quilt shop and retreat center for creativity, fun and knowledge to be shared with others who appreciate the love, time and warmth that goes into every stitch. Life is too short to not love what you do and do what you love. We fell in love with fabric, quilting and the great people we met and continue to meet along the way.
