Join us for the RWWTP Solar Project Ribbon Cutting!

The Village of Ruidoso invites the community to celebrate the completion of a major solar energy project at the Ruidoso/Ruidoso Downs Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The $2.7 million project includes 1,488 solar panels and is expected to reduce the facility's electricity costs by approximately $185,000 each year. The project was financed through a 0% interest loan from the New Mexico Environment Department's Clean Water State Revolving Fund.

The ribbon cutting is open to the public, and community members are invited to join us in recognizing this investment in infrastructure, energy resilience, and long-term operating savings.
