Less than two weeks from now Sacred Grounds Coffee & Tea House(Ruidoso’s Famous Midtown Live Music Venue) will be shaken' with some foot tappin'(okay, maybe a little stompin')...hand clappin'...fan wavin' live Gospel music with Jamie & AKA (Jamie Estes, Dave Millsap, Bud Hewett, Pete Davis, Joey Everett and others)!!!! The July August Brunch ended rather abruptly with the loss of electrical power in all of Midtown…but, the guys plan to be better prepared in the event that happens again, by learning a few more A Cappella songs and maybe even some acoustic…you just never know what they will come up with, but it's guaranteed to bring a smile to your soul!
ALL of the tips will go to the Lincoln County Food Bank, www.lincolncountyfoodbank.org, and a donation of any amount will get you a free CD "Music Of Ruidoso” featuring some of our top local artists (including individual participation by members of Jamie & AKA). The CD was produced by Richard Cagle of Montrose Records specifically to benefit the Lincoln County Food Bank and they normally sell for $10. So, not only can you enjoy some wonderful music…you will help feed your neighbors in need at the same time! We hope you will join us for another great celebration of the soul stirrin’ live music of Gospel Blues & Rock!
Come grab a fan and let’s have a fun time together! Sunday, August 19th, Noon - 2PM...No Cover Charge...come early and order a great lunch cooked up by Chef Zach and team! If the Sacred Grounds parking lot is full, don’t give up…there is additional free parking at the village public parking lot across the street on Grindstone Canyon Road.
