Event Description:
Enjoy a memorable evening of classic blues, gourmet dining, and craft cocktails, beer & wine with friends and family and send out the old year with a bang.
The Dinner - Your Choice of:
Lamb Lollipops: Two seared lamb ribs, served with Asparagus, Mashed potato, Topped with a smoked tomato cream sauce.
Salmon: Seared salmon served with artichoke hearts, sun dried tomato, spinach, gnocchi, topped with a white wine butter sauce.
Chicken Roulade: Chicken breast stuffed with bacon, cheddar cheese, spinach, jalapenos breaded and fried, served with asparagus, mashed potato, and a spicy cream sauce.
Stuffed Portabello: 2 caps stuffed with red pepper, onion, spinach, white wine butter sauce, parmesan, pinion nuts, Served with sweet potato mashers, asparagus.
Prime Rib: 8 oz cut of perfectly cooked prime, served with asparagus, sweet potato mashers, Au Jus, horseradish sour cream.
Complimentary: Coffee or Tea with Dinner and after dinner we will set out an assortment of sweet treats for dessert. At Midnight, a Champagne toast. And, for home consumption-only, a 200 Ml souvenir bottle of Glencoe Distillery's newest bottled spirit: Sacred Grounds' brand of Ginger Liqueur.
The Spirits:
With the exception of the complimentary champagne for the toast at Midnight, all beer, wine, and craft cocktails are New Mexico products and are not included in the reserved seat ticket price.
The Blues - Sam Barlow and his True Blue Band:
Sam Barlow is a 24 year old virtuoso guitarist, harmonicist, and vocalist based out of West Texas. His 12-year professional career as both a frontman and session player has spanned a wide array of genres. Including but not limited to, Blues, Rock, Pop, Funk, Jazz, Soul, Tejano, Hip Hop, Country, etc. He has opened for, both as a solo act as well as with other artists, Sublime with Rome, John Anderson, Robert Earl Keen, Cory Morrow, Johnny Rawls, and many more. Sam "cut his teeth" in Austin, Texas, playing popular Blues/ Rock styles and had the opportunity to sit in amongst legends such as Jimmie Vaughan and Elvin Bishop. In 2010, Sam's electrifying performance style captured first place in the El Paso "King Of The Blues" guitar competition sponsored by Guitar Center. Sam then went on to represent El Paso in the state finals held in Houston where he finished in 2nd place. In 2013, he won the FM 92.3 The Fox Battle On the Border with Outlaw Country group, TrailerBand, and In 2015, Sam was a Top 4 Finalist in the PM 92.3 The Fox Battle On the Border with his own, Sam Barlow Band. As of 2016 he holds an Associates of Arts in Music (Jazz Guitar) at El Paso Community College. In his spare time, he is an avid blues historian, fried chicken lover, free thinker, hat guy, Star Wars memorabilia collector, and humorist.
BTW, if you're a single, it's no problem. You will be welcome and safe here. If you drink too much, please allow one of us to get you alternate transportation. We are committed to you having a safe and wonderful end of 2018 and a happy beginning of 2019.
