London and New York filmmaker, William Spicer, will be present for the screening of his poignant, gripping and insightful movie Mission to Lars, Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m. at Sacred Grounds. The film, about a disabled man seeking to fulfill a lifelong dream, will be the week's featured movie night film at Sacred Grounds. The star of the show is Tom who has Fragile X Syndrome, the most common form of genetically inherited learning disability. The movie combines the worlds of rock and roll, sibling love and determination, and the daunting difficulties of those with disabilities face in pursuing their dreams.
