We are announcing the Lincoln County Bird Club's 1st birding field trip of the year to the Hodo Valley on Saturday May 11th to observe spring migration! Traveling Hondo Valley backroads, LCBC hopes to see juncos, flycatchers, tanagers, swallows, ravens, red-winged blackbirds, Canada geese, various duck species and more. A lunch stop is planned at Tinnie's Silver Dollar. We will return to Ruidoso via Lincoln and Capitan for more sightings, time permitting. We will meet at the Big 5 parking lot on Hwy 70 in Ruidoso at 8:30am to sort into carpools. Bring water, snacks, field guides, binoculars and dress in layers. Guests are always welcome!
