La Original Banda el Limon features 17 members and a unique sound that expertly balances old and new forms of Latin music. One the first banda artists to amplify and synthesize their sound, La Original Banda El Limon expertly infuses contemporary elements to traditional Mexican banda. Their 2009 album, Derecho de Antiguedad, landed on top Top Latin Charts, as did their 2010 follow-up Soy Tu Maestro: 45 Años Gracias a Ti, 2013’s Fin de Semana and 2016 Mas Original Que Nunca.
