Chevel Shepherd at Spencer Theater

Chevel Shepherd stands as living proof that big things sometimes come in small packages. The 19 year old New Mexico native first charmed America as the champion of season 15 of The Voice, winning with powerhouse performances nurtured by coach Kelly Clarkson. Accolades and fame ensued for Shepherd, taking her away from her days feeding the family's farm animals and fixing up cars with her dad, into the bright lights of concert halls and arenas. She spent the next year opening for concerts featuring Clarkson, Little Big Town, Brothers Osborne, Lee Brice and others, along with singing God Bless America before the celebrated Indianapolis 500!
