Carrizozo Music, Inc. Presents "Trinity"

Carrizozo Music is pleased to announce that they are included in the Santa Fe Opera Touring Company’s annual spring tour. The free performance of ‘Trinity’ happens at Trinity United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 21 at 4 pm to be followed by a reception and opportunity to meet the performers.  The opera was commissioned for The Santa Fe Opera's 50th anniversary with music by John Kennedy, libretto by Andrea Fellows Walters and stage direction by Kathleen Clawson.
 
The one-act opera is presented on the 75th Commemoration of the development of the atomic bomb.  Trinity takes place in southern New Mexico in the present day and during World War II.
