Event Description:
Ruidoso Art Workshop offers an opportunity to expand your child's natural creative talent. We are constantly hearing about the cuts in the art and music programs at our schools, and studies have shown us how important the arts are in education. The arts are what make us more human, most complete as people.
Group art lessons for kids will be held on Mondays for ages 10 to 14 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm and on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 pm. Ages 6 to 10 will meet on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 pm and Wednesdays from 1:30 to 3:30.
Classes will be kept small with no more than 6 students per class. Artists will make one project during each class. We will explore a variety of techniques and medium that will include painting, sculpting, drawing, and other mediums.
After School Group Art classes include all the art supplies needed along with an afternoon snack.
