DESCRIPTION:Lincoln County Bird Club (LCBC) invites members and guests to their annual Fall Equinox Migration Field Trip along Monjeau Road to Monjeau Peak on Saturday\, September 19. Carpools will leave promptly at 8 AM from the gravel parking lot west of the Shell station on Ski Run Road\, NM 532.\n\n \n\n"This is the height of the fall migration season as birds who have summered in the northern US migrate to Mexico\, Central and South America\," said LCBC President Jim Edwards.  "Species we have seen in previous years have included Bushtit\, Ruby-crowned Kinglet\,Clay-colored and Black-chinned Sparrow\, various hummingbirds\, Olive-sided Flycatcher and many more."\n\n \n\nDress in layers since daytime temperatures change as we climb in altitude. Bring binoculars\, field guides\, bird apps\, camera\, water and snacks. Expect to be out until approximately noon.\n\n \n\nLCBC welcomes both experienced and novice birders.
