Event Description:
Family friendly, Outdoor Sports & Music festival that will Feature Ruidoso’s expansive World Class trail system & Downhill trail. The “Peak 2 Peak Challenge” participants (in the disciplines of Mountain biking, hiking & trail running) will trek across Five different trails, circumventing Ruidoso proper and collect custom stamps on a Illustrated Card at the summit/peak of each trail along the route, for a possible total of approximately 40 miles. During this daytime, non-race, solo guided “Fun Ride/hike” participants will be able to return at any time to the Festival grounds, that will be located at the Cedar Creek Recreation Area, where festivities will include Live Music, Kiddie races, Vendors, Food, Bike Demos, Educational booths. All registrants will be eligible for raffled prizes and other memorabilia. This event will commemorate the Official Grand Opening of the extremely popular “Cedar Creek Downhill Trail” & new Cedar Creek Trail System.
