Beginning this fall, Ruidoso Art Workshop will offer you an opportunity to expand your child's natural creative talent. We are constantly hearing about the cuts in the art and music programs at our schools. In addition, studies have shown us how important the arts are in education. The arts are what make us more human, most complete as people.
Group art lessons for kids will be held on Mondays for ages 10 to 14 from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. Ages 6 to 10 will meet on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. Classes will be kept small with no more than 6 students per class. This ensures the quality tme for each child to expand his or her creative talents. We will explore a variety of techniques and mediums that will include painting, sculpting, drawing and other mediums. Artists will make one project during each class. After school art classes include all the art supplies needed along with an afternoon snack.
