Event Description:
The Ruidoso Mountain Music Showcase is a unique nationwide music contest designed for solo artists, bands, and singers who are not signed to a major label record company or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, or imprints. The goal of the Ruidoso Mountain Music Showcase is to find outstanding, talented performers: a band, singer, or solo artist...a newcomer or veteran...raw or polished - the "gem" that needs to be discovered. Ruidoso Mountain Music Showcase is looking for the total package.
12th Gate Studios will be filming and producing broadcast quality DVDs of each day’s performances.
All winning entrants will perform live on stage in a pre scheduled time slot during the two day showcase at Mountain Annie’s Center for the Arts. The Center is located in the beautiful mountain resort village of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Mountain Annie’s Center for the Arts theater is equipped with cutting edge sound and lighting technology to enhance every performance. All aspects of the showcase will be staffed by Mountain Annie’s professional sound and lighting technicians.

The Ruidoso Mountain Music Showcase will be an exciting two day event on Friday, August 30th, 2013 and Saturday, August 31st, 2013. Friday will feature live performances by twelve winning showcase entrants. Six finalist will be chosen to compete again on Saturday for the top three prizes.
GRAND PRIZE: $2,500, Plaque & Live Concert Scheduled to be performed at Mountain Annie's Center for the Arts
2nd Place Prize: $1,000.00 & Plaque
People's Choice: $500.00 & Plaque
