Enjoy an evening of music and audience participation. Fifty percent of ticket sales will go to support the Old Dowlin Mill, an important historic landmark in Ruidoso.
MAMA HOTTIE is promoting their new cd, Rubber Glove. With genres from folk rock to bluegrass and cha-cha, they feature songs from the Beatles, Emmy Lou Harris, Simon & Garfunkel and bluegrass standards such as Rocky Top, Old Slew Foot and Roll in My Sweet Baby's Arms. TIM McCASLAND offers tons of finesse along with the harmonies of DEANNA and P. BLAKE MARTIN.
As an added bonus, there will be a presentation of The JADE BRACELET, an audience participation murder mystery. Who done it? Come and see!
THE JADE BRACELET will be presented by Mama Hottie & the Sterilizers on June 29th. Saturday night at 7:00, the stage is set for an evening of musical entertainment, murder and tongue-in-cheek mayhem. The Jade Bracelet is a one act play written by local, aspiring playwright, Blake Martin.
Who done it? Private Detective Spade Holmes leads suspects and audience through a twisted labyrinth of brilliant deductions to expose the homicidal thief. It proves to be chilling tale of super human misconceptions, alien vaudeville and unrequited love.
Eight actors (including Mama Hottie & Co.'s Tim McCasland, Deanna and Blake Martin) portray a mystery comedy where Billy the Dostoevsky, the owner of a priceless, stolen bracelet, is murdered.
Mama Hottie & the Sterilizers provide a concert of acoustic folk-rock, bluegrass and cha-cha-cha in the midst of this intriguing event at Ruidoso's historic Old Dowlin Mill.
