Las Cruces Chamber Orchestra

Event Description
The orchestra is under the spirited artistic direction of Maestro Lonnie Klein who, as a pops conductor, has produces and conducted the Las Cruces Symphony in concerts with such celebrated artists as Doc Severinsen, Lee Greenwood and The Temptations. Klein has also guest conducted with orchestras in Mexico, Canada, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Columbia and the United States. He joined the symphony in 1999.
The night's concert program will include:
Mozart's Violin Concerto #5 in A Major K.219, with featured soloist Eva Leon, violin
Mozart's Symphony #35 in D Major "Haffner" K.385
The overture is TBA
Eva Leon is Hailed by critics as a violinist that "has the power to captivate the five senses of her audience" La Naguardia (Spain), and is described as a "charismatic violinist who possesses, along with her musical talent and tremendous aura, a gift for expression" Neue Press (Germany). She won the 33rd Artists' International Annual Debut Prize in New York in 2006, which led to her debut at Carnegie Hall.
